Lakes Entrance is home to the annual Chants Carnival, opening in Lakes Entrance on December 23, and running through to the end of January.
Chant's Carnival is open from 6pm every night and closes around 10pm. Situated on the Foreshore, near the Footbridge, you can enjoy fish and chips on the grass for tea, then wander over to the Carnival.
Rides range from small kids rides, slides and sideshows, dodgem cars, ferris wheel and all the older kids rides that scare the pants off you.
December 23 is a special day where you can purchase an armband at a discount, and all proceeds will be donated by Chants Amusements to the New Years Eve Fireworks Festival.
