The Alpine Rally is on again, November 27, 28 and 29, 2015, centred around Lakes Entrance and the East Gippsland forests.
The tradition continues in 2015 with planning under way for Australia’s largest and most spectacular gravel rally for two wheel drive cars. Based on picturesque Lakes Entrance in East Gippsland the event will be even more exciting and challenging with a number of new innovations that are set to make it an outstanding success in 2015.
Australia’s longest running motorsport event, the Alpine Rally, started way back in 1921 and is one of the worlds oldest motorsport events behind the Monte Carlo Rally, the French Grand Prix and Indianapolis.
The event covers over 816 kms of forest roads, visiting Bairnsdale, Bruthen, Orbost and Cann River, before finishing at Lakes Entrance Golf Club on Sunday, 29th.
