Lakes Entrance: All town jetties are producing Trevally on white and blue bait. Salmon are still at Bunga Beach, best results using silver lures. Offshore for Pinkies on pilchard and squid.
Lake Tyers: Some Bream at Devils Hole and Toorloo Arm. The Glasshouse for Flathead on prawn and worm.
Mitchell River: From Gassy Banks to the Highway Bridge for Bream on soft plastics, prawn and cut crab. Luderick are also at the Highway Bridge taking worm and weed. Trout are where the Wentworth and Mitchell Rivers meet, using spinners.
Tambo River: 40cm Bream are at Rough Road and the boat ramp, best results with worm.
Nicholson: From the two bridges and through to the Strait Six for good size Bream taking worm and prawn.
Metung: At Shaving Point and the town jetties for Bream and Mullet. Best time being late afternoon using worm.
Paynesville: The town jetties are producing Bream, Trevally and Luderick, using worm, live shrimp and weed.
Hollands Landing: Blonde Bay, The Woodpile and Tom’s Creek for Bream taking worm and pippies. Some Mullet are also about on worm.
Marlo: Offshore for Pinkies, Flathead and Gummy Shark. The French’s Narrows for Bream. Also try around the islands. Some Luderick are also around. The surf for Salmon on pilchard, poppers and lures.
Tamboon Inlet: The Football Ground is good for Pinkies and Trevally around the 1kg size. Best bait is white bait. Bream are at the top of Furnell Landing on worm.
Bemm River: Still plenty of Bream in the lake, best results using worm and prawn.
Mallacoota: The surf for Salmon taking pilchard and poppers. Bream in the lake taking yabbies and prawn. Trawling with lures is producing Salmon and Taylor. The Wallagaragh River for Bream and Perch chasing lures.
Omeo High Country: Some Trout at the Livingstone and Mitta Mitta Rivers on soft plastics and spinners.
