Mitchell River: Bream to 40cm have been taken in the backwater and as far as Wyung Bridge. Local prawn is best bait. Flathead are striking soft plastics, around the “Cut” area.

Tambo River:The mouth of the River is producing Bream, on prawn and bluebait.

Nicholson: Bream to 35cm are being caught between the Railway Bridge and “Tyres” bend. A few Flathead have been landed on soft plastics.

Metung: Bancroft Bay has been fishing well with Bream and Flathead biting on prawn and sandworm.

Hollands Landing: Bream and Flathead are prevalent around Tom’s Creek. Spider crab and prawn are catching fish after sunset.

Tamboon Inlet: Bream and Flathead are biting between Aeroplane and Peters Rocks. Soft plastics and prawn are catching fish.

Bemm River: Flathead are cruising in the Channel and taking soft plastics. Good size Bream are in the Lake.

Mallacoota: Salmon, Trevally and Luderick are “on the go” around the Bastion Point Boat Ramp. The Bottom Lake is good for Tailor, Bream and Flathead, using plastics and yabbies.

Omeo High Country: The Mitta Mitta River is down and patience is required to catch Trout and Macquarie Perch. However, expected rain will improve fishing.
