Take a Cruise on the Gippsland Lakes onboard the Lonsdale
The Lonsdale Eco Cruise leaves daily (except Wednesdays) from Cunningham Quay in Lakes Entrance.
If you travel along the Esplanade, until you get to the Central Hotel (large orange hotel), then you'll be directly opposite where the Lonsdale Eco Cruise departs from. Parking is available in the carparks on the Esplanade, or one of the side streets.
Departs at 1pm daily and returns after a 3 hour cruise at approximately 4pm. Onboard tea, coffee and freshly baked scones are served, so make sure you have some lunch before you Cruise. Alternatively, you can take your snacks and drinks onboard.
It's a great afternoon out for the kids, with access for prams and wheelchairs. The Lonsdale Eco Cruise also has a fully sheltered cabin if the weather gets a bit cool.
Presently out on the Gippsland Lakes you'll see a variety of wildlife. If you checkout their Facebook Page www.facebook.com/LonsdaleCruises, you'll see the latest dolphin and seal sightings, along with plenty of native birdlife.
