The annual Melbourne Cup Eve Duck Race is on again. Starts 4pm on the Foreshore near the Footbridge in Lakes Entrance.
Free activities will also be on the Foreshore during the afternoon, before the Duck Race.
Free Face Painting on the Foreshore from 1:30 pm till 3:30 pm. Get your kids faces painted for free. Many designs to choose from, the kids will love it.
Free Petting Farm on the Foreshore from 1:30pm till 3:30 pm. Get your kids in touch with nature. Lots of animals to pet and cuddle. All free.
Duck Race starts at 4:00 pm. Get your $2 ducks from the Foreshore from 1:30 pm onwards. A stall will be setup near the Footbridge and free activities.
First prize is $250 cash, with vouchers for 2nd, 3rd, last, little black duck and our NZ Duck.
These activities are supported and organised by the Lakes Entrance Action and Development Association. They're a volunteer organisation of local business owners. See their website at www.lovelakesentrance.com.au.
