Cruise the Lakes in StyleCome aboard the Thunderbird, the largest cruist boat in Lakes Entrance. Treat yourself to a Cruise of the Gippsland Lakes in comfort. Fully enclosed seating, with large upper viewing decks. A fully stocked bar and snack bar is onboard for your convenience, serving alcohol, soft drinks and snacks.
Where do you go?The Thunderbird does several cruises of the Lakes, a 70km Scenic Cruise covering Lake King and Lake Victoria, or a 35km trip into Lake King and around the shores of Metung. We also have a short cruise for those wishing to sample our unique Lake System.

Your skippers, The Peels, have been cruising the Lakes for 40 years.
With their extensive knowlege of the Lake system, you'll experience the history and the Natural Wonders of Gippsland Lakes.
It's not unusual to sight dolphins, seals and an abundant range of birdlife whilst cruising through the Lakes.

Three Cruises. All departures are from near the ClockTower, The Esplanade, Lakes Entrance. It's right across the road from the Post Office.

It cruises through Reeve Channel, Bancroft Bay, Lake King, passing Paynesville, Sperm Whale Head National Park, into Lake Victoria, rounding Raymond Island then around the shores of Metung and into Chinaman's Creek.
We don't guarantee sightings of wildlife, but we do our best to show you the Natural Wonder of the largest lake system in Australia.
