Local Art and Community Events
Seafarers Festival - 3, 4, 5 December 2010
The Seafarers multicultural festival is in it's second year and we envisage it will grow each year to include a dynamic program of cultural and entertaining possibilities, all relevant to the Lake Entrance and East Gippsland Region.
As the patron saint of Seafarers and Travllers, the name of St. Nicholas is recognised by communities worldwide and in particular, is synonymous with the Fishing Industry. Since Tourism and Commercial Fishing are the main industries of Lakes Entrance, using the St Nicholas theme for the Festival sits extremely well with Lakes Entrance. The Seafarers Festival will provide an opportunity for all community groups and local businesses to become involved. The Festival will promote the region and assist in attracting people to our town.2010 Lakes Riviera - Art on Show

Its just hard not to be impressed by these machines and the many hours the owners put into building them. Buchan Rodeo 2010 roundup
